چکیده
Purpose: There are conflicting data about the effects of fetal echocardiography (fECHO) on psychiatric symptoms mother and cardiac evaluation fetus.
Methods: This study included 119 pregnant women who evaluated using fECHO as group 65 healthy ultrasonography for routine screening control group. All participants filled out State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) Beck Depression (BDI) before assessment. Results: Mitral flow velocity, Tricuspid Aorta velocity (AFV), Pulmonary artery Fetal heart rate (FHR) was by fECHO. STAI-S, STAI-T PSS scores were higher than In group, AFV values with high STAI-S those low scores. FHR in compared to Correlation analyses showed that number pregnancies positively correlated. found be negatively correlated Conclusion: can cause anxiety stress may have negative evaluation.

Referral for fetal echocardiography is associated with increased maternal anxiety.
BACKGROUND Referral for fetal echocardiography (fECHO) is an acute stressor that may induce significant maternal anxiety. To promote good clinical management of expectant mothers in this situation, including adequate screening for possible psychiatric interventions, data are needed regarding the psychosocial functioning of women scheduled for fECHO procedures. OBJECTIVE To investigate the ass...

15 صفحه اولP33: Effect of Mother\'s Anxiety on Fetus
The prenatal period is a critical time for neurodevelopment and is thus a period of vulnerability during which a range of exposures have been found to exert long-term changes on brain development and behavior with implications for physical and psychiatric health. During fetal life, neurons proliferate, migrate and form connections, providing the structure of the developing brain. Neurons reach ...
متن کاملMaternal anxiety associated with fetal echocardiography
Background: Women awaiting fetal echocardiography (fECHO) report high anxiety. It is unclear if anxiety decreases after performance of fECHO. Methods: At fECHO, subjects’ current (state) vs baseline (trait) anxiety was assessed using the Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Anxiety scores of the preand post-fECHO groups were compared. Results: From January 2007 to January 2009, we recruit...
متن کاملFetal Vegf Genotype is More Important for Abortion Risk than Mother Genotype
Background VEGF gene has been reported to be related with many diseases and recurrent pregnancy loss in various studies. VEGF polymorphisms are risk factors for pregnancy losses, and generally studies report only women’s genetic analyses. To evaluate the association between VEGF A C405G, C460T, C936T and C2578A polymorphisms and spontaneous abortion, we studied the genotypes of spontaneously a...
